St. Cuthbert Cross Necklace
Embrace the timeless elegance of our St. Cuthbert Cross Necklace, inspired by St. Cuthbert, the patron saint of Northumberland who once resided near Berwick-Upon-Tweed, on the holy island of Lindisfarne. The design pays homage to the original cross, made of gold and garnets, showcased in the Durham Cathedral museum. We have crafted this piece in silver, harmoniously matching our signature mooring rings. Elevate your style while honoring a rich heritage with this exquisite adaptation. Quaystones 2023 copy presents this as a symbol of enduring faith and tradition.
The cross design pendant is suspended from a 1.7mm curb chain. The necklace is available in two lengths 40cm/16" and 45cm/18", and with two stone options Amethyst (purple) and Amazonite (green). For reference an 18" necklace weighs approximately 5.5gms and the cross itself measures 23mm by 19mm and with the stone setting is 3.5mm deep.
